À Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, le 7 octobre 2022, à l'âge de 79 ans, s’est éteint M. Roger Doucet, fils de feu Henry Doucet et feu Ethel Boucher. Il était résidant à St-Zotique et natif de Bathurst au Nouveau-Brunswick.

M. Doucet laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Dorina Lavigne Doucet, son fils Danny (Karen), ses 2 petits-enfants Mackenzie et Chelsea, ses 5 arrière-petits-enfants, sa sœur Claudette Smith (Jimmy), ses 4 frères Jean-Claude (Charlotte), Ronald (Connie), Sylvio (Linda) et Gilbert (Denise) tous de Bathurst au Nouveau-Brunswick, sa belle-mère Jeanne Pitre de Oshawa ainsi que l’ensemble de ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, ses neveux et nièces, ses parents et amis.

La famille vous accueillera le jeudi 13 octobre 2022 de 12h30 à 13h00 au complexe funéraire E. Montpetit & fils situé au 1174, rue principale à St-Zotique. Les funérailles auront lieu le jeudi 13 octobre à 13h00 à la chapelle du complexe et l’inhumation aura lieu ultérieurement à Bathurst.

In Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, on October 7th, 2022, at the age of 79, Mr. Roger Doucet passed away, son of late Henry Doucet and late Ethel Boucher. He was residing in St-Zotique and born in Bathurst, New-Brunswick.

Mr Doucet leaves to mourn his loving wife Dorina Lavigne Doucet, his son Danny (Karen), 2 step grand children Mackenzie and Chelsea, 5 great grand children, his sister Claudette Smith (Jimmy), four brothers Jean-Claude (Charlotte), Ronald (Connie), Sylvio (Linda) and Gilbert (Denise) all of Bathurst New-Brunswick, his mother in law Jeanne Pitre of Oshawa and many brothers and sisters in law, nephews and nieces as well as relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, october 13th from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. at E. Montpetit & fils Funeral complex located on 1174, rue Principale, St-Zotique. A ceremony will follow at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of the Funeral complex. Burial at a later date in Bathurst New-Brunswick.

My sincere condolences to the family especially to Dorina and Danny. You are in my thoughts during this difficult time.
I have very fond memories of Roger over the years. A wonderful, kind, funny and caring man to his family and friends. Roger was like a brother to Danny, an uncle to Julie, and dear friend to me.
Some of my favorite memories are of the times Roger, Dorina, Danny and I spent at Lac Simon. The things we did and all the laughter we shared during those years are memories never to be forgotten. The many dinners shared, holidays spent together and of course having a glass of wine.
You will be missed by all dear Roger.
